Process for Visiting Our Hospital

(Note) The necessity of a referral and the choice of referral destination are entirely at the discretion of the examining physician. Please understand that our department cannot be involved in this decision, and as a result, you may not be referred to our hospital or department.

Our hospital provides care in cooperation with your local "primary care physician".

St. Luke’s International Hospital values its network with local medical institutions.

To provide high-quality medical care closely connected to daily life, we recommend that patients with stable symptoms have a “primary care physician” near their home or workplace.

When we refer you to a “primary care physician,” we will provide a referral letter detailing your medical history and treatment at our hospital. We will coordinate care so that you can receive regular medication from your “primary care physician” and periodic examinations at our hospital. Of course, you are always welcome to visit our hospital if your condition suddenly worsens.

The Medical Cooperation Office is available for consultations to help you find a “primary care physician.” Please feel free to use this service.
